The Real Thing

Well it all started approximately 12 years ago during my limnology exam at our university. I was waiting for my written part to be examined and to go and face the professor for some more verbal confrontation. Staring through the window I found dead bumble-bee between the two glasses. Being the "almost" biologist, I just HAD to dig the thing out and I opened the first window and started my "expert" examination with my pencil. While checking my entomo-anatomy I found out that the insect is perfectly preserved because the sun and the warm air between two glasses dried it completely. Legs and antennae fell off and I went further... I dug out the first front wing when......*TARAAAAAAAAAAA* the room started to shine the light - from the electric bulb flashing above my head! What a wing material this would be! Actually I took both pairs and make 2 flies and from this pair you see the smaller one. I used the hackle of my first Metz - bdun-#3 and some VMC hook... nice joke!
