Hello, my name is John Ridderbos. I machine parts for surgical equipment
as a career. I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with my wife Nikki, and son Alex.
I am really looking forward to getting him into tying and
fly-fishing. One of his first words was "fish", makes a dad proud. I
am within a two-hour drive of some of the best trout water in the world,
being the Ausable and Pere Marquette Rivers. My true love in fly-fishing
is bluegills. Most of the flies here are bluegill flies. Mainly trout
flies converted over to bluegill flies. Some are originals, such as my AJ
nymph; others are borrowed, or modified classics.
