Jose Manuel Cenador Cela

Hello, my name is Jose Manuel Cenador Cela.

I wam born in 1972 in La Bañeza (León- Spain)

I have fished since age 10 and tied my first fly age 11. Started fly fishing at age 16.

I tried to learn tying my first flies autodidatic, then from books and magazines and then with friends who helped me to improved my flies. I was commercial tying for local shops and differents Fly fishing companies of sale by catalogue.

I have been guiding and fishing in Chile and usually in León region for trout, pike, black bass... in some of its many streams, rivers, lakes and reservoirs.

I also enjoyed saltwater flats fishing in one trip by Cuba.

I obteined the guide course and all the levels from monitor to Nacional trainer of the Spanish Fishing Federation.

I work at Sage Products S.L., a local fly shop in León., tie flies, teaching in courses of fly tying and Cast, and some times guiding.

I love to try a lot of different tying styles for diferents fish. My favorite in fishing and tying is for trout with feathers of genuine Coq Leon.

With the many differents aspects of flyfishing, I try to improve on all but never end the learning of them all.

I hope you will enjoy tying and fishing my flies and release the fish.
