Hook: Tiemco 2488 (size #22)
Thread: 8/0 Black Uni-thread
Bead: Killer Caddis Diamond-Midge size
Tail: Brown hackle fibers
Rib: Copper wire
Abdomen: Tying thread
Thorax: Mahogany super fine dubbing

Tying instructions
  1. Place bead on hook by running fine wire twice through the hole in the bead and wrapping the wire around the hook.

  2. Tie in tailing hackle fibers.

  3. Start thread and tie in copper wire, anchor down the wire and wrap back towards the bend.

  4. Wrap the black thread for the body, and then let the bobbin hang next to the glass bead head.

  5. Wrap the wire ribbing in a segmented fashion. Tie off and cut wire.

  6. Place a very small amount of mahogany super fine dubbing on the thread and wrap around the glass bead head. Although sparse this should cover your wire tie in points.

  7. Whip finish and head cement.
