Hook: terrestrial or standard dry #8-12( TMC 5212,TMC 100)
Thread: black 8/0
Overbody: black polycelon fome, width 6-8mm depending of hook size
Underbody: black chenile,medium, which is wounded across all body lenth, including thorax
Wings: black swiss rafia
Hind legs: segment of black wing feather (peacock or turkey), knotted for knee
Front legs: black deer hair
Thorax cover & head: black polycelon foam

Notes:

Right time to use this like other terrestrials is Jully and August when they are in abundance near water, and their mishap to land on water surface is almost routine. During this time trout instinctively give good respons even when some other water insects could be on water, but fat body of Black Cricket, its sharp silhouette and long back legs are good triger for trout.

Recomended casting slighly upstream of the point where trout are feeding, then try to imitate its struggle-helpless movements with short "twitches"
