Needle Fly

Hook: TMC 100 # 16
Thread: UNI 6/0 Black
Abdomen: CDC Feather natural darkgrey tied in the way like the CDC & Elk
Wing: 2 CDC feathers of small size parallel to the shank
Thorax: A pinch of Snowshoe Rabbit feet underfur and in front of it CDC Dubbing grey, plus a few hairs from chamois black in a split thread dubbing 'loop'

Note: The pinch of Snowshoe underfur helps to see the fly and gives additional buoyancy. Needle flies are very common and they are around from February until December.
