I am a prepress graphic arts computer operator (lithograaf) by profession.
I started flyfishing around 1990 and tying flies shortly after. I tried
to learn tying flies from books. Although my flies were not too bad I
think my tying skills improved big time after I joined a flyfishing/tying club
called De Meivlieg (The Mayfly) where I met Hans de Groot & Hans Weilenmann.
I love to try a lot of different tying styles (trout, salt, bass and salmon)
but my passion in fishing and tying is for pike because it is a great fish to catch
and I do not have to travel to fish for them.
