Bead: black (or gold)
Thread: 6/0 black or brown
Weight: lead or substitute wire under thorax
Tail: pheasant’s tail fibers
Abdomen: twisted copper wire
Thorax: peacock Lite-Brite dubbing brush
Wing pads: pearl Krystal Flash or similar material

Note: variation of John Barr’s Copper John, which is an excellent fly.
