| Hook: | Mustad 34007 up to size 2 |
| Thread: | Pink or tan Danville Flymaster Plus |
| Weight: | Mini or extra small lead barbell eyes or bead chain eyes tied in at hook bend; can be tied without weight |
| Tail: | 3 strands of Tan Krystal Flash doubled over the thread and then tied down; clipped short; one strand Pearl Sili Leg each side, longer than Krystal Flash |
| Body: | Tan or white small braided mylar tubing or tan McFlyon fibers or tan Aunt Lydia’s Sparkle Yarn (single strand); wrapped to eye; tan hackle palmered over body |
| Wing: | 4 strands pearl or tan Krystal Flash; covered by Tan Kraft fur or Gold McFlyon fibers or tan Arctic fox or rabbit hair as long as tail |
| Legs: | Pearl or tan Sili Legs, tied in at the head so a segment reaches backwards and a segment reaches forward |
| Head: | Pink or tan thread |
